On the farm it is possible to borrow bikes. The forest begins right behind the stable, where you can take long peaceful walks and in season also pick berries and mushrooms. The nearest town Sala (15km away) is well known for its famous old silver mine, well worth a visit. In this area you will also find a restaurant and beautiful walking trails leading to a nice lake area with boat and canoe renting possibilities. There is also a restaurant close to the waterfront.
Sala also has a 27 hole golf-course in nice surroundings. About five minutes from us a famous painter has his ateljé and gallery, which you can visit after appointments. There are nice fishing lakes nearby Sala and also possibilities to join elk- safaris.
